This "short course on lay ministry" examines the causes for the "revolution in the Church's understanding of 'ministry'," explains the different ministries experienced at the liturgy, in the parish and in the world-at-large and offers a thoughtful spirituality for lay ministry. Drawing on Scripture, Vatican II and a contemporary experience of Church, Richstatter shows how lay-people use their many gifts and talents for the service of God and one another.
